Girivan - In Nature's Lap

Nature has always fascinated me. The lush green trees, the cool and pure air and the warm yellow sunlight reaching out to me wow! It's just an amazing feeling. Away from the urban pollution, I felt alive!! Just imagine about one day with all your relatives in a house surrounded by vibrant trees without any mobile network!! Many of you might find it boring but it is where the actual fun lies, we get to spend time with each other by leaving our busy and stressful life away.

We started our journey with a road trip. From our home in Pune we took the car and drove past the bustling city of Pune. It took us two and a half hours to reach our destination - Girivan. There we had booked a bunglow where we stayed for one day. When we reached there we had our lunch and then we set out to have a bit of adventure. We went to Girivan's adventure camp and had fun on the long and high zip line. The start of the zip line was too high, in the shade of trees and on a hill

Then after the zip line we went on the Hanging Bridge. The Hanging Bridge was basically a bridge with wooden planks to walk on. The Hanging Bridge was followed by the Big Burma. In that we have to walk on a rope with knots in between. It also had two supporting ropes which we had to hold.

I enjoyed it thoroughly though I have done type of adventure before.

From there we went to our bunglow in Girivan and spent our night there by playing various games till late night. On the next day we woke up got ready and wandered around in Girivan. We saw spectacular views and various trees and flowers.

  6. Your writing style is very good. It is fun to read about your experiences. Few years down the line you would love to read your own diary :)
Keep writing on different topics. If you love music then write how it makes you feel. If you like to read then write short summary of books or about authors.
    Keep writing!
